Why Work for ILC?

“Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experiences of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired and success achieved.”- Helen Keller

Character development

At ILC, employees are given the opportunity to participate in humanitarianism, compassion, applied servant leadership and unbiased tolerance beyond what they might experience in other employment settings. These experiences and traits develop character that will follow a person throughout their lifetime.

tight knit, diverse atmosphere

ILC brings together people of all different backgrounds and beliefs, who are united in the idea of a greater good and higher quality of life for those we serve. Our employees are given the ability to capitalize on personal strengths and develop skills to overcome weaknesses as a team, in order to better achieve our goals. As a team, we support each other through achievements and challenges alike. This alliance provides our greatest virtue while allowing us to achieve excellence in our field.

Celebrations

At ILC, we believe it is extremely important to celebrate everyone in our agency, members and employees alike. Annual block parties, holiday celebrations, birthdays, grill outs, and other special events are not only fun but continue to build upon our cohesive atmosphere. ILC also celebrates and appreciates the accomplishments of employees outside of work such as college graduations, weddings, becoming new parents, promotions, and so forth.

We fully recognize, honor, and comply with the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act. We provide our managers and supervisors with the tools they need to effectively manage employees who serve in the Guard and Reserve. We appreciate the values, leadership, and unique skills Service members bring to the workforce and will encourage opportunities to hire Guardsmen, Reservists, and Veterans. We will continually recognize and support our country’s Service members and their families, in peace, in crises, and in war.
